Our House System
A sense of belonging
The House System, a cherished tradition of English schools, provides a sense of belonging, safety, and fun as students grow, make friends, and learn together.
Our House system ensures our students’ time with us is as fun and enjoyable as possible. Within the school, every student belongs to one of the four houses: The House of Dreamers, The House of Courage, The House of Unity and The House of Kindness. Each year these houses compete to win the House Cup. Good work, helpfulness, achievements, being a role model for other students and other contributions to the life of the school win students points for their House.
The Land of Belonging is where all houses come together, represented by a lion, to maintain the connection to the school's logo. It serves as a reminder of ELC’s motto:
